Army To Set Up Training Facility In Chhattisgarh

The army says it has made initial efforts to establish a new training facility in the Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh state in central India, reports the Hindu.
About 100 acres of land has been acquired on the edge of the Maoist-held Abujmard region for a jungle training facility for live-fire maneuvers and other combat training, according to an army release.
The Abujmard has been declared a "liberated zone" by Maoist rebels.
