A new chief of staff of the Canadian army reserve is on the job, reports the Canadian army.
Brig. Gen. Kelly Woiden formally assumed his new post during a Friday ceremony in Ottawa.
He replaces Brig. Gen. Gary O'Brien, who is retiring after 38 years of service.
Most recently, Woiden served as the assistant commander for army development under the NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan.
