The U.S. Army's new enlistment bonus program went into effect at the beginning of this month, the Army Times reports.
Bonuses range from $1,000 to $20,000, depending on specialty and length of enlistment. More than 100 combat arms, combat support and combat service support specialties qualify for a bonus.
Bonus payments are capped at $20,000 for a three-year enlistment, $25,000 for four years, $30,000 for five years and $40,000 for six years. Those totals are typically...
