Nigerian troops have attacked three militant camps in the oil-producing Niger Delta region, Reuters reports.
The camps attacked on Wednesday afternoon were located near the Ayakoroma and Okrika communities in Delta state, military officials said.
Soldiers said they recovered heavy weapons belonging to the group led by John Togo, said a military spokesman.
Togo heads the Niger Delta Liberation Force, which is believed responsible for armed robberies, ambushes and attacks.
