The U.S. Army is looking at international sales opportunities as a way to help fund modernization efforts and fight budget cuts, says a service release.
Such foreign sales, which can take place either through commercial channels or the government-to-government Foreign Military Sales program, can bolster the health of the U.S. defense industrial base, said a top Army acquisition official.
