The Army has rejected language in a congressional document that indicated it was canceling the largescale Defender Europe exercise planned for next year, reports Defense News.
In the markup of the fiscal 2022 defense policy bill by the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, the committee noted that the Defender Europe exercise in fiscal 2022 had been canceled and replaced with smaller-scale training.
