The Norwegian army has ordered 20 wheeled armored vehicles for service in Afghanistan, reports Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, the German builder of the vehicles.
The deal covers Dingo 2 vehicles, with the first 10 in the order set to be delivered in Afghanistan by the end of the month.
The balance of the order is due to be handed over in February 2011.
KMW supports Norwegians in their area of operations in Afghanistan.
The value of the contract was not made public.
