The Army has awarded contracts to five companies for the first phase of the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) program, reports Defense News.
An AVX Aircraft-L3 partnership, Bell Helicopter, Boeing, Karem Aircraft and Lockheed subsidiary Sikorsky have been selected for the design phase.
