Army Orders More CROWS II Weapon Stations

The U.S. Army has made a $204 million deal with Norway's Kongsberg Defense Systems (KDS) as part of a December 2009 framework agreement on the Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) II, reported the company.

The December order modified an August 2007 CROWS II framework agreement, increasing the Army's total order from 6,500 to 10,349 systems.
