Army Orders 14 Light Helicopters In $74 Million Deal

The U.S. Army has awarded EADS North American Defense, Arlington, Va., a contract to build light utility helicopters, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The $74 million contract covers 14 UH-72A Lakota helicopters and 14 airborne radio communication systems.
Work is scheduled to be performed in Columbus, Miss., and be completed by Aug. 31, 2012.
