Army, Opposition Reach Tentative Deal On Transition

Sudan's ruling military council and main opposition bloc have reached an agreement on the duration of country's transitional period and makeup of the transitional legislature, reports the Sudan Tribune (Paris).
On Wednesday, the council and the Alliance for Freedom and Change agreed to a three-year transition period, said Lt. Gen. Yasir al-Atta, a member of the military council's negotiating team.
