Army Opens Engineer School In Mazar-e-Sharif

The Afghan National Army has opened a school for combat engineers in Mazar-e-Sharif in northern Afghanistan, reports the NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan.

Dedicated this week, the ANA 209th Corps Engineer School at Champ Sheehan will offer explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and construction classes, according to NATO.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers constructed the new buildings, classrooms and barracks for the school.
