The Finnish military is seeking new short-range anti-aircraft missiles for its arsenal, Defense News reports.
The army has started to compile a list of potential short-range anti-aircraft missile (SRAAM) producers, military officials said.
Officials have indicated a preference for a shoulder-fired missile for deployment with regional units.
The Defense Ministry says orders could be placed in 2011 or 2012, with deliveries beginning in 2015.
