Army Lets $70 Million Contract For Javelin Missiles For Foreign Partners

The U.S. Army has awarded the Javelin Joint Venture, Tucson, Ariz., a contract modification for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) orders of the Javelin anti-tank missile, reports the Dept. of Defense.

The US$70 million FMS contract definitizes fiscal 2013 and 2014 production year lot for Army Javelin requirements and establishes option pricing for fiscal 2015.

The deal includes missiles for Estonia, Indonesia, Ireland, Lithuania, New Zealand, Oman and Qatar.
