The Syrian army says it killed 150 rebels during battles in the central Hama province on Wednesday, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency, citing Syrian state media.
Fighting between the army and the rebels occurred near the town of Maardis in the northern part of the province, according to the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
