Army Futures Command (AFC) is set to reach full operational capability on July 31, reports the U.S. Army.
Since its creation last, Futures Command has grown to 24,000 personnel spread across 25 states and 15 countries, said AFC commander Gen. John Murray on July 18.
At its formation last year, the command consisted of a dozen personnel at the its headquarters in Austin, Tex.
