Army Eyes Operation Against Insurgents Near Syrian Border, Says Prime Minister

Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri has told the Lebanese Parliament that the army is planning for an operation along the border with Syria directed at militant groups, reports Reuters.
The operation is being studied for the Juroud Arsal area, he said. The army has been given the "freedom" to act, said Hariri on Tuesday.
