Army Deploys APCs To Afghanistan

Four Czech armored personnel carriers are being deployed to Afghanistan, reports the Czech News Agency.
The four Pandur II vehicles will replace four BVP-2 vehicles currently used by the Czech provincial reconstruction team in the eastern Logar province.
The vehicles were scheduled to arrive at the Kabul airport within a day, Czech officials said.
The Czech Republic also plans to send a C-295 cargo aircraft to Afghanistan for up to two months.
