The Pakistani army says it has successfully wrapped up anti-Taliban operations in the nation's northwest Orakzai tribal region, reports the Voice of America News.
The regional offensive that began in March has concluded and displaced residents can now return home, according to an army statement. An estimated 200,000 people fled the region during the fighting.
Pakistani officials claimed that at least 600 militants and 20 soldiers were killed during the military offensive. ...
