Army Debuts Felin Future Soldier System

The French army has used a modular infantry combat suite for the first time in Europe.
The Felin future soldier system was deployed during recent drills with the British army, reports Sagem, which builds the system.
Felin is an acronym for "fantassin a equipement et liaisons integres," or integrated infantryman equipment and communications.
The French army has ordered 22,600 system and several regiments have already been equipped with it, notes a Sagem release.
