The Army is considering issuing each of its soldiers an iPhone or Android cell phone, reports the Army Times.
Under one plan, the Army would issue the smart phones in the same fashion as any other piece of equipment, and would even pay the monthly phone bill, said Lt. Gen. Michael Vane, the head of the Army Capabilities Integration Center.
