The North Korean regime has replaced a senior front-line military commander said to have a direct role in land-mine blasts along the border in August, says a South Korean source, as reported by the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
"Immediately after the land-mine and shelling provocations, North Korea replaced the commander of the 2nd Corps Kim Sang-ryong with Pang Tu-sop in late August," said the government source on Thursday.
