The Indian and Pakistani armies have agreed to a truce along the line of control in the disputed Kashmir region, reports the Hindustan Times.
On Thursday, the armed forces issued a joint statement saying that both had agreed to begin observing a cease-fire starting at midnight on Wednesday.
The sides also committed to addressing the other's core issues, reported the Voice of America News.
