Gunmen have raided an armory close to Burkina Faso's capital, stealing weapons, security sources said on Friday, as cited by Reuters.
The suspects arrived at a weapons depot overnight in Yimdi, about 20 km (12 mi) west of the capital Ouagadougou, and overpowered a security detail, according to the sources.
Some 20 men took part in the raid, reported AFP. There were no casualties and the number of weapons were stolen was not reported.
