Armored Vehicles To Beef Up Federal Police

Textron Marine and Land Systems, based in New Orleans, says it has received a Foreign Military Sales contract from the U.S. Army to provide armored vehicles to the Iraqi federal police.
The US$94 million contract covers 80 LAV-150 armored vehicles: 72 configured as armored personnel carriers and eight in the U.S. Army M1117 Armored Security Vehicle configuration for use as command-and-control vehicles.
