Yemeni officials say suspected Al-Qaida militants killed several members of a new Emirati anti-jihadist force and abducted others on Wednesday, reports the Daily Sabah (Turkey)
A militant suicide bombing took place near a checkpoint in the Redhoom district of Shabwa province, said one Yemeni military official.
The blast killed six soldiers, while others were injured or kidnapped by Al-Qaida members supporting the bomber, said the official. Two vehicles were also destroyed. ...
