Apache Helicopter Chosen To Replace Tigers

Australia has selected the Boeing AH-64E Apache Guardian to replace its fleet of 22 Airbus Tiger aircraft, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
Defense Minister Linda Reynolds said that the Apache was the lowest risk choice, beating out offers from Airbus for Tiger upgrades and additional airframes and Bell for its AH-1Z Viper.
