Companies from California and Ukraine have agreed to enter up to three aircraft in the U.S. Air Force KC-X tanker competition, reports Defense News.
Under the accord, California-based U.S. Aerospace will act as the prime contractor for the team with Antonov, according to an unnamed industry source.
The partners said they will enter the four-engine An-124-100, a two-engine variant the An-122, and the An-112, a new aircraft designed to meet the KC-X program's specifications. ...
