Gunmen opened fire on NATO tankers outside of Pakistan's capital of Islamabad on Monday, killing three people and injuring seven others, the Dawn (Pakistan) reports.
More than 20 tankers caught fire in the midnight attack, security officials said. The gunmen reportedly escaped.
The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for this and another recent tanker attack, Agence France-Presse reported.
