Egypt has officially taken delivery of its second French-made Mistral helicopter carrier, reports Reuters.
The ship was handed over during a ceremony on Friday in the Atlantic coast port of Saint-Nazaire in France.
The Anwar El-Sadat, named for the former Egyptian president, will sail from the port early next week for exercises with the French navy before heading to Alexandria. The first ship, named for former President Gamal Abdel-Nasser, was received three months ago, noted...
