The Norwegian navy last week took delivery of its fourth Fridtjof Nansen-class frigates during a ceremony at the Fene-Ferrol shipyard in Spain, reports Navantia, the Spanish builder of the vessel.
Helge Ingstad (F-313) is the fourth of five frigates in the class.
The ship is named after a famous 20th century Norwegian explorer.
The first in the class of ships, which are equipped with AEGIS combat systems, was ordered in 2000.
