Ankara’s First Unmanned Surface Vessel Reaches Mass Production

Ares Shipyard Unmanned Systems says it will soon be producing 50 ULAQ unmanned surface vessels (USV) per year, reports the Daily Sabah (Istanbul).

The armored USV can operate via remote control as well as autonomously, and it is armed with a Koralp 12.7 mm stabilized weapon system.

ULAQ USVs took part in Turkish Naval Forces’ 2021 Sea Wolf exercise.
