The Turkish government says it is considering temporarily opening its long-closed border with Armenia for a NATO disaster-relief exercise, reports Hurriyet Daily News.
Turkey is set to take part in the training in Armenia scheduled from Sept. 11-17.
Diplomats have indicated that Ankara could allow NATO equipment to pass through the Dogukapi crossing in northeastern Turkey for the six-day exercise in Armenia's Lori Mar region.
