Ankara Has Paid Deposit On Russian S-400 Air Defense Missile Systems, Says Erdogan

Russia and Turkey have inked a contract for S-400 air defense systems, reports Russia's Sputnik news agency.
The contract was announced Tuesday by Russia's Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara had already paid a deposit on the deal, which is estimated to be worth US$2.5 billion, reported the BBC.
