The U.S. Navy's newest amphibious warship has just completed acceptance trials in the Gulf of Mexico, reports the Navy NewsStand.
During last week's trials, the Anchorage demonstrated various onboard systems, including propulsion engineering and ship-control, combat and communications, damage control, mission systems, food service and crew support and the shipboard wide area network during the evaluation, according to a Navy release on Monday.
