The Indian navy is deploying four warships to the Horn of Africa, Red Sea and western Mediterranean Sea, reports the Times of India.
Meanwhile, the navy has sent other warships to help Seychelles, Mauritius and Maldives to monitor their exclusive economic zones and conduct anti-piracy patrols.
Yet another four ships have gone east, and are making a port call in Shanghai, China, according to navy announcements this week.
