At least one person was killed and 40 or so others injured Wednesday in an explosion at a military firing range in central Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
The accident, in the Ryazan region, occurred when two ammuntion trucks were being unloaded, local police said.
The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet confirmed the incident.
