Ammo Explodes At Army Base

At least one soldier has been killed in an explosion at an army base in eastern Kazakhstan, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
An undetermined munition detonated during handling in an infantry fighting vehicle at the base in Ayagoz late last week, according to Kazakh media reports.
One soldier died in the hospital. Three others were badly injured, one critically, according to a Defense Ministry spokesman.
An investigation into the incident was launched, said the ministry.
