Amid Border Dispute With India, Army Holds Live-Fire Drill In Tibet

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) recently conducted a live-fire assault exercise on the Tibetan Plateau, reports the China Daily.

The exercise involved a ground combat brigade from the PLA Tibet Regional Command and covered rapid deployment, joint strike and air defense operations, said a PLA release.

The reports did not say when or why the exercise was held, noted the Press Trust of India on Monday.
