American bomb-disposal experts are training Iraqis at Camp Taji, near Baghdad, to take over responsibilities when the U.S. specialists leave Iraq, Reuters reports.
Four Iraqi army soldiers received training this week from an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) team, U.S. military officials said.
The Iraqis trained with a robot scout, which allows the EOD troops to investigate a possible bomb from a distance. The specialists also practiced with the heavily armored bomb suit. ...
