Estonia and Lithuania have inked agreements that formalize the presence of U.S. troops in their territories, reports Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
The Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) with Lithuania signed Wednesday is aimed at making it easier to deploy Americans and cover joint exercises and training.
Such SOFAs cover the use of military sites by American troops and authorize their presence.
