American Citizen Fighting For ISIS In Custody In Syria

An American citizen fighting alongside Islamic State in Syria has been captured by local forces and transferred to the U.S. military, says the Pentagon, as reported by the Washington Post.

Some military personnel said the fighter "surrendered" to the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on or around Sept. 12, reported the Daily Beast. He was turned over to U.S. forces, said a Pentagon spokesman on Thursday.
