Amentum Expands Colorado Springs Presence to Catalyst Campus

On Oct. 30, 2026, Amentum announced it had expanded its Colorado Springs operations to the Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation to accelerate defense and space innovation. Mark Walter, president of Amentum’s Engineering and Technology business, said the move will allow the company to work closely with government, industry, and academic partners to get critical capabilities to the warfighter faster.

The new facility supports secure, day-to-day work on sensitive defense and space programs, advancing Amentum’s efforts in missile defense, artificial intelligence, cyber operations, and space mission support. Located near Cheyenne Mountain Complex, Peterson Space Force Base, and Schriever Space Force Base, the campus puts Amentum close to major U.S. defense and space activity.
