Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James says her service is ready to eliminate all restrictions on combat jobs and other military specialties for women, reports Military.com.
"I don't see any barriers to opening up those remaining career fields" that are still closed to women as long as gender-neutral standards are kept in place, she said on Monday at the Air Force Association's Air and Space Conference outside of Washington, D.C.
