Alberta Hosts British Iron Fist Brigade Training For Afghan Mission

The British 20th Armored Brigade (The Iron Fist) is taking part in a major army exercise in western Canada ahead of its deployment next year to Afghanistan, reports the U.K. Ministry of Defense.
The three-month Prairie Thunder exercise is being held at the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) in Alberta.
The training includes realistic mock villages peopled by Pashtu-speaking Afghan actors from the local area.
