Al-Shabaab Firing Squad Executes Girls As 'Spies'

The Somali Islamist group Al-Shabaab publicly executed two young women accused of espionage, the BBC reports.
The women, aged 15 and 18, were executed Wednesday by a firing squad in the central city of Beledweyne.
The group's regional commander said the women had been found guilty of spying and being "enemies of Islam."
