Kenyan security forces say they are hunting for Al-Shabaab fighters after the terrorists raided a police station on Wednesday, reports the Daily Nation (Kenya).
The attackers struck at dawn near the coastal county of Lamu in the Boni forest, along the border with Somalia, reported the BBC. Witnesses said more than 200 fighters took part.
Three officers were killed, one was wounded and one was reported missing, according to the Star (Kenya).
