Al-Shabaab Attacks Police In Kenya, Troops In Somalia

Al-Shabaab militants say they have killed about 20 Kenyan police officers in Yumbis village, about 45 miles north of Garissa, reports Agence France-Presse.
The officers were killed Monday as they went to help others hit by a land mine or roadside bomb, according to local media. Another four were believed killed in the mine blast.
Casualties were reported variously.
The Somalia-based terrorist group was also involved in attack in Somalia several days before.
