Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for Sunday's attack on a Somali military base in Jubaland, reports the Voice of America News.
Militants detonated two suicide car bombs at a military checkpoint before attacking the base at Bulogudud town, north of Kismayo, said Somali military officials.
