Al-Qaida Suspects Rounded Up

The Moroccan government says its security services have dismantled an Al-Qaida-linked cell in Casablanca, Middle East Online reports.

Security personnel were led to the cell after members stole a pistol and ammunition from a police officer, said the Interior Ministry.

The 24-member cell was preparing to attack targets in Morocco, said officials. Some members were being recruited to serve in Afghanistan, Iraq and Somalia, said officials.
